1394 mini (4-pin) question

Hi, I'm looking to get a 2.5" external HD enclosure to use with my laptop and I'm a 1394 noob.

The laptop in question only has 1394 mini (4-pin) inputs (and USB 1.0). So the question is, do the 4-pin mini inputs also supply power? Or is that only for the 6-pin?

Thanks. After digging around a bit, I came to the same conclusion based on some engineering spec documents 😀
