I'm doing my part. I'm exposing every child in my life, who only know the mainstream CoD shit shoved down their face, to RPGs.
I've got my 9 yr old nephew now anxious and asking by Thursday if I can come over again that weekend and bring Ni no Kuni or Golden Sun again or asking "what other story games do you have?" as he calls them, instead of him wanting to play Black Ops. He went from not being able to know what to do in a game that doesn't have a big arrow compass pointing straight ahead to excitedly and vividly recalling whole stories up to the point he last save after not playing for a week.
Eventually Ill get him on Final Fantasy 4 then feel bad when he is as bitter as I am after learning nobody makes those anymore.
My niece and her friends got REAL quiet watching me play Ni no Kuni when things got tragic, and I heard one of them squeak out "that's so sad..." and they all had the 1000 yard RPG stare of "can't move, won't move, what happens next..."
Hehehehe Excellent...
