I am looking at getting a Penryn when it comes out and wondering if I could get some memory for the system now as prices seem pretty good. Would good pc-8500 ram be up to getting most of what the 1333 fsb will offer or will I need higher speed memory to run 1:1 at the 1333fsb speed. I am not a total noob, but I am not sure about this. My instinct says pc-8500 will not be able to run at 1:1 at this bus speed. Can someone enlighten me and suggest what to do about memory for a Penryn system?

Assuming you're just going to be using 1333 and nothing much higher, Two 667 sticks will be fine and get you 1:1. 667x2 = 1334
