Calgary got fvcking robbed with that uncounted goal in game 6...thats going to haunt all of us...
They had a still shot of it in the paper... it wasn't completely over the line... it only appears so from the angle on video.

And on the computer rendered version of the picture, the puck was no where even close to crossing completely over the line.

I don't want to hear another Flamer whine. That puck was not over. Only Disney's bad angle video looked like it was over.

Sorry for the late post. I was down at the Forum until 3AM. Needless to say, I JUST NOW got around to firing up the PC.

I wonder why the ycould not get a shot stright from above? Most arenas have that shot.

This issue is going to haunt them and haunt the officials of the NHL for a long time, and I know it doesn't matter to this series whether it was in or not anymore, because you guys can all argue back and forth about it all you want just like you're doing, jonny and scouzer, and it wouldn't matter one bit. They need to make a definite rule for that kind of goal, and stick to it. If the camera angles are insufficient to tell very clearly, then it's all up to whether the referee called the goal at that time. Something like that.

I really think they should install cameras on the posts of the goal. It'll probably be big and bulky and in the way, but hey, the advancement of technology will fix that :)

Haha, I think they'd hate even more to be denied a goal by the camera.

That pretty much is the rule right there. Referee makes a call. That call stands unless video clearly shows the opposite.
