I'm not a hunter myself but this story is a bit unusual; I'm sure there are some hunters in these forums.

wow, a doe with 13 points. Biggest rack I've ever seen in person was 10 points (on a buck). Very strange. Was this a white-tailed deer? The story doesn't specify.

That is a pretty nice rack. I shot an 11 point a couple years ago.

I remember hearing something about a doe that had a rack, but I don't know if it was the same one or not, weird either way

Yes, White-Tailed is the only type of deer that lives in the area.

It's happened before. Usually the the deer just has 2-3 points though and the antlers are small.
