13.3" laptop for £600?

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a 13" laptop around the £600 (in the UK) price range (going to be used for computer science degree). Preferably something with a haswell i5 (not fussed about the GPU) which has a good keyboard

Any suggestions?

If you are going to be doing computer science a larger screen is nice for coding.
Alternatively a ~24" 1080p monitor at home that you can plug in is nice.

I'm afraid anything under £1000 - very much including that Macbook Air - will have a crappy low-res screen. At £1000 there are a number of nice options.

OK, I take it back. Looks like you can use eBay or reship.com to get refurb, open box, or grey market Ultrabooks from the USA. If you do that I'd look at the Samsung Book 9 Plus and the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro.
