Seems like a very warm deal. I've used Kodak Golds and they are of excellent quality.

Too bad they're only 650MB/74mn CD's... If they weren't kodak-branded, this deal wouldn't be all that hot.

I only buy 80-min CD's anymore (700MB). They usually go for a few bucks more in spindles and sometimes are even cheaper. They're usually OEM but I have found some very high-quality OEM 80mn cdr's.

For the curious, here's the difference between the two:

74 minutes == 333,000 sectors == 650.3MB CD-ROM == 746.9MB CD-DA
80 minutes == 360,000 sectors == 703.1MB CD-ROM == 807.4MB CD-DA

You get what you pay for. Kodak is one of the finest CD's, and will be still working when the cheap crap being given away have long died with your precious information. Why risk losing something that takes at least 10 minutes of your valuable time to save 20 or 30 cents, and them find out a year or two from now that the information is lost, never to be seen again?

That sounds like a good deal but I wouldn't know what to do with 200 blank CD's... that's a lot of "backing up".

Oh, sorry. I didn't get the joke (i'm pathetic). I thought it was just a useless post referring to Juvenile's song. Again, i apologize.. the only reason i posted it was cuz I was wondering why a senior member was posting useless stuff.. but now i get the joke :)
