Hi there,

I try out 2 PSUs in my ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe, and the 12v line reading (in BIOS) only have 11.71v. Is it the MB problem or it is a common issue in seperated 12Vs PSU.

Mine also shows 11.71V, but my multimeter says 12.09V. 5V is also a bit off. I wouldn't worry..

Hey man, i too have a reading of 11.84, but it sometimes goes down to 11.77 or so, so i RMA'ed my psu.......lets see if its the psu or the asus probe thats wrong. My vcore is also alittle jumpy.....it goes to 1.52,1.48,1.55, ect.... It usaully is at 1.52(where i have it in the bios), but does jump abit....i have my asus probe set to poll every second as opposed to every 10 seconds that is default. At least someone else too is having low 12V rails.

I have low 12V, too and my vcore will jump as well. I am going to replace my PSU..feel like it doesn't give out enough juice if I continue overclock my CPU and video cards.

I wonder the 12v reading is not correct in A8N SLI, as both SevenTeam & Enermax are good PSUs.
BTW, is there anyone can prove that "A8N SLI can reach 12v reading in BIOS"

I've got a Blue Storm 500w dual 15amp rails and a Seasonic super silencer 460w single 25amp 12v rail. The 12v rail in the Asus Probe seems to flucuate with both of them the same way. Idle 11.776- 11.840 then dips to 11.712 for short times when a load is put on.

I'm gonna guess that this isn't something to worry about since I don't have any stablity problems and use my computer over 8 hours a day.

Ok, i posted in here before that i was getting similar results on my 12 volt line, after people said it just does that for everyone, i didnt care and i RMA my psu, well i got the new one today and indeed, it ISNT the asus bios or probe. Before my bios would tell me 11.71, and asus probe would say 11.84/.77.........now in the bios it reads 11.98 and in the probe, it says 12.03/11.968. So i would really take a closer look if your readings look low, im glad i did!

i had a 520w powerstream in mine, 12v line read 12.01 and never changed even under full load. 3.3v and 5v never fluctuated either.
