12v PSU rails, sags to 10.94

[Sentinel]

Using onboard or Everest I am getting fluctuations varying from 11.52 - 10.94, don't have a multimeter unfortunately. I am getting instability and lock ups while playing games.

specs:
Antec Truepower 330W v1 bought a few years ago
1700 Tbred B @ 1833 MHz
Shuttle AN35N Ultra 400
1 GB PC 3200 Corsair VR

no such thing on the 9600XT 😛

you're voltages are out of ATX specs, so my guess is that you need a new PSU

:roll: all my lines are plugged into what they should be. I have been running smooth for the past year(s), this is the first time that it hasn't been caused by overclocking.

no such thing on the 9600XT 😛

Or any other video card either 😀 If the PSU is really putting out voltages that low, then get it out of there before you corrupt your HDD or something. Warranty it to Antec, it's probably still under the 3-year mark?

Take it to a local computer shop and ask them to test it. If it truly is bad you can purchase a replacement from them. 🙂

Thats a pretty good idea, not necessarily that I will buy one from them but I know a guy who runs a shop.
