12ms LCDs out?!?!

That's one nice-looking LCD. Pity they didn't actually do any game stress-testing of the claimed 12ms response time.
 
I wish some site would just get out an oscilloscope and measure the claimed response times of these things. It's not that hard to do.

Go to best buy and test the one there with your oscilloscope.
 
It's not. The panel is quoted as being 16ms elsewhere -- the opinion is basically that they screwed up on the spec sheet, or are only giving the rise time (12ms black-to-white, 4ms white-to-black makes much more sense). Believe me, if they'd made some sort of giant breakthrough in LCD screen technology it would be all we could do to stop their PR group from telling anyone and everyone about it.
