12gb for i920 system

Was wanting to get ocz platinum 12gb 7-7-7-24 kit but seems to be out of stock everywhere - possible discontinued.

Anyone know an alternative with tight timings? Would it be a problem to use 2x6gb kits of the same stuff? (its going in a p6t)

its for a p6t deluxe, BTW and i7 920 which I'll OC a bit, or a lot depending on how it handles it

Do you have to purchase 6 sticks all at once in order to run 12GB seamlessly? I ask because I'm thinking of starting with 6GB when I build my new rig then adding 6GB more later on. I notice in the product description it says "Hexa-Channel Kit", making me think you have to buy 12GB all from the same "set" and all at once.

No. And since you are asking, I'm willing to bet 12 gigs will be overkill for whatever you do.
