Genereally, comic books are worth the most if they are in perfect, off the press condition. There are many that can be worth $ with a couple of wrinkles. Most, though, if looking worn, aren't worth a whole lot.
 
The original TMNT comic from Mirage Studios that was in B&W was awesome...this one is lame.
