129$ cash card at Staples

I have a cash card from Staples. I am in the market for a new Vid card. I'm a gamer enthusiast but Staples sells low end cards. I want to put the credit i have towards something I'll make good use of. I have XP Pro and it runs fine but I figure one day I'll want to upgrade to Vista Ultimate. After the cash card the total comes out to @ 190$ (includes SP1) Staples is the only place i can use the card... I've looked around for other things that I could use but can't seem to find anything. I've been there 3-4 times already but this last time is when I ran across Vista Ultimate @ 319$ I am undecided.

does it expire?

windows xp won't be phased out until 2010 so i would worry about preparing for the future. don't run vista, its not worth the performance loss.

you can sell it on ebay

you could trade it for something good on this forum.

if there is no expiration date i wouldn't settle for less then it's worth.

Do you need the features of Vista Ultimate? IMO they are a waste of cash. I picked up Home Premium for $239.99-10% = $215.99

As much as I like Vista, I can't see spending the extra money on Ultimate. Spend it on something else.

Or "cash" it out by buying FAR stuff at staples. I cashed out $50+ of gift cards once by buying Norton Internet Security for $53, and it had $60 of rebates on it.
