Hello,

I have a friend that bought one of these generic Mobo's from TigerDirect(I know what you're thinking  ) for $25.00 AR. It's one of these crapy mobo's with the integrated processors.

Well, he wants to get a new video card, but it does not support AGP. PCI is the only available slot. So, I was wondering if anyone knew what would be the best possible PCI card that he could run?

He running PC133 ram, so I do not know if this mobo would be compatible with a DDR PCI video card? If not, can you still purchase SDRAM PCI video cards?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Don't worry about matching the kind of memory on the motherboard with that used on the video card. They can be different without causing performance problems. The motherboard will manage it's own memory, while the video card manages it's own.

Hmmm...nope! At best, the FX 5600 PCI is just on par with the 9100 PCI (64mb version included), faster in a few cases, but slower in many others.
