This is a great price for 128MB. This is in last Sunday's ad. I picked some up Sunday morning. Seems like a great deal to hold me until 256MB comes down in price a bit more. Now my new hot deal Toshiba has 256+128MB.

Depends on the laptop. Most newer ones just have a trap door on the bottom held closed by a screw. Just undo the screw, open the door, snap in the RAM card, close it up, and you're done. Thats the way my Toshibas work, anyway.

Im in the same boat. I guess that is how they plan to screw us. "You didnt fill out the serial number field properly so no rebate for you." I saw a mishmash of letters and numbers on the sticker so thats what i put. But I also put a photocopy of the RAM itself so that if there is a serial number then they can get it themselves.

Phantazm. Please put a "deal dead" in the title so people know the rebates are over

I found 2 sets of crap that might be Serial Num...so I wrote both on the rebates, and above put something like "Couldn't figure out which was the SN" ...fingers crossed
