Yeah, it was 'drastic action'. She just sent over the message logs between him and her, and I'd have to say, he was asking for it! Everything he says is either creepy, desperate, or just plain annoying. He's flooded her with bajillions of "I love you" messages a bunch of times... Judging by the mood of the things she said, he definitely should've picked up the hint.

Yeah, so the deal with guys is that they (we) tend to look at women in the most hopeful light. A woman can say "no" twenty times, but then she says "maybe" once, and we tend to only see that hopeful "maybe" and ignore all the "no" responses.

My advice to women is that they be very direct, and give the guy no hope. Instead of saying, "You're a really nice guy, but it's my roommates birthday, and I promised to go out with her," just say, "no." No explanation. No room for argument. If the guy tries to argue, make him out to be a stalker a$$hole in front of other people, and that will shut him up.

I'm not sure feeding words to the guy through the girl like that was called for... but I guess she agreed to it, right?

Exactly what I was thinking
Oh, and at first, I didn't feel right about feeding her lines, and told her to try first, but I noticed right away that she wasn't doing that well, so I offered some advice. What she did with the advice was beyond my control ;)
