I have 128 now and my computer starts to be a little "busy" with a lot of programs...

I have 900 MHZ TBIRD so this is not my problem

anywhy I am surfing all the day in the internet and I am playing game 5% of my time ...

I just want to be sure that the memory will help me because I have WIN ME and not 2000 and WIN ME isnot to heavy...

any opinion will be accepted :))

NAV 2001
FIREWALL 2001
BABYLON
CREATIVE SB LIVE
ICQ 2000

I am considerating WINDOWS WISTLER very soon...

all these programs are in the the STARTUP folder so they are open auto

i also recommend win2k. i only have a p2-400 with 128mb RAM, and i usually have more apps open than you have listed, and i get no slow down at all.

depending on what you have nav2001 doing in the background, i think it *might* be making your computer seem a little busy..

I suggest you try these two programs: MemTurbo II and Startup Cop. (forgot where I picked up SC but it's copy righted bt Ziff-Davis)
MemTurbo w/clean up your rams from time cycle or auto cycle you set so you'll never run out of rams and Statup Cop could disable/delete all the pesky programs that gets dumped into auto start menu in your registry. (the ones that you don't usually see in the startup folder)
