I have 128 now and my computer starts to be a little "busy" with a lot of programs...

I have 900 MHZ TBIRD so this is not my problem

anywhy I am surfing all the day in the internet and I am playing game 5% of my time ...

I just want to be sure that the memory will help me because I have WIN ME and not 2000 and WIN ME isnot to heavy...

any opinion will be accepted :))

More RAM is always beneficial to have, even when just running Window ME. I have 256MB running Windows ME and don't have any problems whatsoever.

With win98/5 128MB was fine... I have not run WinME (i run 2k server, so I always need more ram :)) but I have heard that it was a bigger resource hog than 98/5. Plus w/ todays ram prices, its a good time to pick up an extra stick... 256MB more for me soon :p. Anyway, 256 should be good enough for ME as it doesnt run the amount of processes that 2k does and isnt as taxing on the system. Also, 2k manages ram better than 9x/me does and can take advantage of more ram more efficiently than ME does. Anyway, hope it helps.

In my experience, upgrading to 256 won't with those problems. The only good solution is a simple reboot or upgrading to 2000 which doesn't suffer the memory leak problems after continous use.
