I have 128 now and my computer starts to be a little "busy" with a lot of programs...

I have 900 MHZ TBIRD so this is not my problem

anywhy I am surfing all the day in the internet and I am playing game 5% of my time ...

I just want to be sure that the memory will help me because I have WIN ME and not 2000 and WIN ME isnot to heavy...

any opinion will be accepted :))

I have 128mb w/my T-Bird 900 and I do a lot of gaming and a lot of multitasking. I barely EVER notice a slow down and although I would like 256 just for the fact of having it but 128 gets the job done well.

Heck, if you have some money sitting around... use it!!! I'd go for the extra memory. What if sometime in the future you would like to upgrade to Win2k or Whistler???

I have 512 right now... and everyday I'm trying to give myself another reason to get another stick... damn these prices! I hope they stay like this forever...

With RAM prices being what they are you might as well. That way if you ever want to go to Win2k or something you could definately use it.

Its really up to you, WinME wont use much more the 128, but it will use some. As far as upgrading for the future, most likely SDRAM doesn't have a long future so it wont help you later on.

I have been using 256 in Windows ME for sometime but recently switched to Windows 2000 on this computer.
I can tell a difference, 256 is worth it.
