List price is $61.
Mail-in rebate is $20
And buy.com has a $10 of $30 coupon still active.

$61 - 20 - 10 = $31 + shipping.

I bought RAM with rebate about 11 months ago. The rebate came, but it took a while. I still have one oustanding rebate from 6 weeks ago though.

where is the $20 rebate that you mentioned?
I checked kingston website and it says the promotion has ended.
outpost's rebate appears to be for outpost.com only.

a link to a working rebate would be appreciated :)

There is a $20 MIR rebate for this memory. Here is the link (hopefully):

Query: does anyone know if this RAM is able to run at CL2? I have Mushkin CL2 Rev. 1.5 in my system & would love to increase memory size but can't bring myself to pay $90+ again for Mushkin. I don't overclock.

Anyone know of a rebate link for PC100 memory? The rebate link listed is only for PC133.

There is a $10 MIR for PC100, but it only costs $1 less than the PC133.
Go to Buycomp.com and click Memory. It's on the frontpage there.

Thump553,
I'm not sure what kind of chips are on these ram, but if they are IBM's, then it probably won't run at CAS2 even at 100MHz. A month ago I bought one of these from onvia and ended up returning it .....

What does CAS2 / CAS3 mean? I haven't bought memory in a while, and the last time I did I don't recall this being one of the factors to consider.

Thanks!

Since PC133 is cheaper than PC100 here, would I be able to put a stick of PC133 alongside the PC100 that I already have? Will it work under-clocked?

kb1972, it will work fine. Pc100 and Pc133 will work just like you have two sticks of pc100. Hope that help. :)

Most buy.com Kingston RAM is Infineon, which means that it runs 133 MHz at CAS2 easily.

If they are IBM chips you may be SOL.
