Just wanted to add my 2 cents also...

Don't buy from this company! Their site is very misleading. It looks like they have great prices, but they sent me a refurbished Lexmark cartridge. When you look at their website, nowhere on the Lexmark cartridge page does it say refurbished. However, if you go through their FAQ, it says they sometimes send out remanufactured cartridges. IMO, this is outright FRAUD. Sent them an e-mail voicing my complaints, naturally they didn't respond. Do NOT buy from them.

You'd think jumpondeals would remove them from his hot deals page considering the resellerratings. They're awful.
Ditto for fwalet and T*bargains and any other site fronting for them. Come on guys, we count on you to steer us right!!

I ordered once from them a few weeks ago and I received my order in about 8 days and have had no problem with the cartridges and it was for my Epson c80.

I've also had a bad experience with this company. I ordered two lexmark cartridges, one black and the other color. Both were "refurbished" and both were black. I had a very difficult time getting my money back as they would not return emails and there's no phone # on the web site. Luckily a phone number was on my CC statement. When I got in touch with them they claimed they were having email problems and were very rude. After I returned the "color" cartridge it took a month and a couple more phone calls to get my money back. I would say ordering from these guys is risky at best.

Seems like 123inkjets is on every "bargain" site out there, I'm SURE they are paying for their advretising and that's why. I also wouldn't be surprised if some people who post on these boards advertising 123inkjets "specials" work for them. Be careful.

Well Guys,

I was concerned about this, I hadn't ever recieved a Complaint about them in the past...So when I saw ResellerRatings, I was surprised, So I contected them, and this is what they told me....

"We kind of went into a hyper-growth stage about a year ago and only had 4 customer service reps to handle customers. But now our customer service department is our main focus. We just moved into a new building about 1 1/2 months ago and have increased our staff from 40 to 120 employees. Currently there are 58 customer service reps answering Customers inquiries over the phone."

Hope that eases some concerns...

This sounds like the excuse given by Webuildpcs and oczone.
Not to mention that the resellerrating comments are current.
From the site:

<< Please email us before calling because email can be processed faster than telephone calls. Plus every cent saved from expensive telephone bills in returned to our customers with lower prices >>

Yep, they've sure beefed up the phone service. Not to mention that the only person with an expensive telephone bill after calling customer service, is the customer. I would not be happy about buying something here. Would you, if these were heatware or Ebay ratings?

This company sucks... I just ranted on about this in the other thread. They operate under a dozen names because their service sucks so bad. They post no phone number on their webpage and I can promise you that if you receive a bad cartride (2 of 5 of mine were bad) then you will regret buying from them. This company is using deals sites and alternate names up the wazoo to generate sales.

Please tell me why a company with 58+ plus phone reps doesn't POST a damn phone number on their website! Total crap... I bought from this place after seeing a deal on Techb@irgains and I can't tell you how pissed I was that TB recommended them.

Here's my rant from the FreeCartridges.com thread.
<snip>

Guys this is the same company I ordered from but when I ordered it was www.123inkjets.com . It's one company with about a dozen names (check out their reseller ratings and you'll understand why they operate under countless names). I can tell by the fax number on their contact page, which if you notice they provide NO phone number to speak to someone. And by the way ALL of these cartridges are remanufactured, which translates into refilled and very used.

Which is fine until you receive a bad cardtridge! I ordered 5 cartridges from them, one of them looked like hell and sure enough it was the Color Lexmark and one of the colors didn't work. Another one seemed fine but after using it for one day, the Fax machine it was in (OfficeJet) said "empty Ink" when it was still full.

So began my saga to return them, I sent countless emails and faxes. No reply.. finally I got tired and disputed it with my credit card. Suddenly 4 days later I get an email from them with a phone number to call. I requested a refund but still haven't seen it yet. I will never deal with this company again. You think you're getting a good deal, but you're not.

Your mileage may vary, but check out their resellerratings under 123inkjets.com and then notice that the contact fax number for both companies is the same. Flat out, this company sucks, but don't take my word for it, check them out.

For those of you that find yourself in my shoes, here's the phone number to call them at for customer service (888) 465-7765 . It took me a month to get that phone number, if they had any balls they would post that on their website or order confirmations.

Update: Out of curiosity, I decided to find out how many other names this company has so I called them up:

There are:
Certified Inks Inc:

websites are:
123inkjets.com
AllYouCanInk.com
FreeCartridges.com
Proinkjets.com
411inkjets.com

These are the ones that the *new* salesman I spoke to could remember.

I'll have to heavily disagree with you people here. This place is awful. Here's my review of them at AT:

Ok, let me start by posting the one, and ONLY email I got from Megatoners after my order:

Thanks your order will ship soon

THAT'S IT!! No order summary. They don't tell me how much they charged for shipping (which they never even really explained on their website). Not even a signature, heading, nothing. There is a supposed order number in the subject, but that's it. It's not even capitalized or punctuated! High class operation. Next, the email was dated April 17, 2002. My credit card was charged on the same date. I just recieved the package today, April 26, shipped via USPS Priority. To their credit, they seemingly only charged me the $3.50 for postage. But does it really take 9 days to get from Brooklyn to Virginia via Priority Mail? I don't think so, even tho they claim same day shipping by 3 pm on their website. Finally, the packaging is totally unsatisfactory. The cartridges were just thrown into a Priority Mail box, free to bounce around. No padding at all. Not that my ink cartridges really needed it, but that's besides the point. I'd recommend you stay away from this shady, basement operation.

hm i take it no one is too fond of refills? ive found black easy to refill, slightly harder on current hp's, but my main problem is finding a good quality ink for printing photos at standard quality on injet paper, and occasional photo prints on glossy.

the only place i have heard any real praise from would be http://www.netwares.com which i hear about on usenet. they do catridges as well so you might wanna check em out

I don't know if they are a quality shop or not but they are expensive! 4oz. of black for my lexmark printer is $23.95, while I can get twice that, 8oz., from ebay (and have) for $18....:p

Nothing wrong with refills if they work and you get them. The problem this thread touched on is the crappy service that companies like 123Inkjets.com give. 3 months after my order I was finally issued my refund from 123Inkjets, this was after an written exhange on resellerratings.com between myself and the customer service manager replying to complaints.

I recently ordered from Megatoners, I must admit that their webpage and order summary is pretty plain and they clearly state that shipping for all orders is $4.50 unless you order over 18.. then it's free. I bought two Epson 820 carts from them to try, they charge your card immediately so I hope they are here soon.
