I recently got Family Guy DVD set and by far it is better than the Simpsons. I have been watching the Simpsons since their inception and they are going downhill.

Seriously though.
The Simpsons will never get cancelled, MG will stop making episodes long before it gets cancelled.
Of course, they cancelled Futurama, which imo, is just as good as the Simpsons.

The worst Simpsons is still 100 times better than 75% of the shows out there. As long as they continute to get ratings it won't get cancelled. Maybe at most 5 years away and maybe then not even.

I gotta agree with coldcut here. The new Simpsons episodes are pretty horrible. The type of humor is just so different to what it used to be. Instead, it is now just resorting to lame practical jokes and stupid one liners. It's really really dumb
