Besides the standard: update all your drivers (chipset, video card, etc.), overclock (GPU, CPU). Your score isn't abnormally low that something is wrong (by ballparking your scores in my head), but I have no idea if you're reaching your full potential or not.

agree with jeff ..... I got a Barton 2500+ with 512 2700 ram , 9700 pro and get a score of 14728... upping the mem to 3200 will give U higher score
