Not sure, actually. Maybe one of the trollhunters will come in and help out.

He had a rating of 38 when I purchased it, with 6 negatives. I'd talked to him on the phone after the auction ended and after the excuses started coming he wouldn't answer anymore.

You bought a spoiler from a guy with a 38/6 record?

Not to be harsh but you kinda deserve this.

Yeah, for serious.

It's not just like 3 negatives in a row either. It's like 6 negatives across the whole SPAN of his membership at ebay. No point in even bidding on it.

lol I'm sure it's just sitting on the troll's dresser, uncashed from over a month ago. Canceling it will only cost $ and I'm sure he cashed it the second he got it.

Ya 6 over a span of over 40 transactions seemed quite odd to me. I mean if it had been 6 right in a row ya I wouldn't have bid but spread out just didn't make me think he was that bad, just made a few bad decisions. I have 3 negatives spread out over mine so does that mean someone shouldnt deal with me? Sure maybe I "deserved" this but thats not the point of this post :) What are some ways I can get this taken care of?

Here's his reply to my email after I threatened to take legal action.

Well the wing has been shipped. As for the others in my profile, they never
even sent me money. You have been nothing but a pain of a buyer but I left
you positive feedback anyways.
-Eric Wood

Amazing. I'm a pain of a buyer because I emailed often and got no responses. I'm a pain of a buyer for sending money right away. I'm a pain of a buyer because I want what I paid for. :disgust:

Give him the worst negative feedback, ever.

The guy sounds like a prick.

Should you leave negative feedback if what you get is what you expected?

I mean it might have taken a while, but at least (hopefully) you're getting what you expected. Neutral might be more appropriate.

I got a negative from some guy because I sold him software and he couldn't get it to work on his setup. He didn't contact me with the problem, and he even said in his explanation that it worked ok on his nephew's machine.

But did he actually ship it, or did he just buy himself more time with another lie?

Actually with them spread out like that shows a pattern of problems. A small series of negatives could of been a bad spell. Which if followed by consistently postive comments is not that big a deal. But over and over this person has shown his true colors and you bid anyway.

DEAD BEAT, WON'T ANSWER E-Mails ****** NON-PAYING BIDDER******

WATCH OUT FOR THIS KID PRODUCT DOESN'T WORK/MISSING PARTS AVOIDING MY EMAILS

Piece of garbage tried to charge me 75 dollars to ship wing 100 miles....CROOK..

Non sending seller i sent him money order and had to recall it cause did not kno

bad transaction. sent insulting, vulgar emails. very unreasonable, slanderous

took over a month to send payment, disregarding the terms of the auction

Come on - you ignored all these comments?

Edit - bolded the important parts of the comments...

Hell yes he should leave negative feedback. 11/13 - 12/19 = 36 days until he ships! And you're questioning IF he should leave negative feedback?
