I needed some these...currently they are offering a buy two get one free sale. While you may find a better deal on these individually sold (directron is OOS btw), you can't beat the price for all three.

OK, when I browse around for fans, I see that they have different sizes (ie.80,92,120mm)
Would anybody know what size fan a Dell Dimension 4400 takes?

Your best bet is to measure the fans in your Dell Dimension 4400 and multiply the diameter in inches by 25.4mm and bingo, you have the diameter you need.

The most common are 80mm, but it could be larger.

Openning up a Dell is almost like openning your refrigerator. No tools required. On second thought it's not quite that easy, but almost.
Usually there are tabs or levers to press and it comes right apart, but most of the new ones need no tools.

I hear these aren't as quiet as they think, like the NMBs and Panaflo L1As are quieter?

PC Toys just renames the products and sells them in bigger stores like CompUSA. Check out their website and see if you recognize anything if you like. Text

ditto that, almost all dell's and microns use 92mm exhaust fans, and usually a crappy air duck to pull air over the passive-cooled cpu attached to the fan mount. reason i mentino that is because i replace them all the time at work because dell finds it ammusing to use sleeve bearing fans to cool a critical and hot-running part of the pc...so when people tell the it dept that their pc's are randomly rebooting and mouse cursors are freezing, i already know the fan probably died.

or you could whip out a ruler that shows centimeters(don't they all). 8 cm = 80mm ;)

120mm is sweet, esp at that price. do wish tehy had leds though.

very few cases have 120mm holes though, ussually gotta mod case to accept it. not hard to slice a hole, many mod sites have tutorials. bigger fan the more airflow at lower rpm with lower noise.
