120mm Panaflo L1 / sunon sound

I have two Sunon 120mm 35.5 dba fans was thinking of getting some Panaflo 120mm L1's at 30 dba. I was wondering would you 5.5 dba drop in sound level or would it be a waste of money? Is there a web site that has downloadable sound bytes of fans (panaflo 120mm L1) Thanks
 
I found Panaflo L1A 120mm fans to be EXTREMELY quiet for "stock" speed fans. And if the sound is annoying you, a 5.5dB drop is very noticable.

This is coming from someone who found 27dB Panaflo L1A 92mm fans to be obnoxiously loud.

I know that's not really what you were asking for, but hopefully my subjective opinion can be of some help.
 
I have two 120 mm L1A's and they're pretty nice. Quiet too. I did however put em on a pcmods baybus for when I sleep and it's inaudible at somewhere around 10 volts (guesstimate based on the 6 to 12 volt range of the device) which seems to be a pretty good fan speed compromise.
