120mm fans and their marketed specs?

I have a question about some fans I'm looking to purchase. I'm no stranger to PC building and modding. But, I have a few questions (sarcastic mostly) about (3) fans.

1) Yate Loon D12SL
Model: D12SL-12 ( all orange )
Air Flow: 47 CFM
Fan Speed: 1350 RPM
Noise Level: 28 dBA
Power: 1.8 watt
Fan Size: 120x120x25 MM
Connector: Includes a 3-pin motherboard power / RPM connector and a 4-pin standard power connector

2)Delta 120mm Tri Blade LS
Specifications: 120x120x25mm, 57.21 CFM @ 1950 RPM, 31.0 dBA, 1.68 watts, .14 amps, Maximum Air Pressure 2.54 mm H²O, 12v DC, 3 pin Molex header connector.

3)Scythe SFF21D 33.5cfm
Specifications: 120x120x25mm, 33.5 CFM @ 800 RPM, 8.7 dBA, 0.10 amps. Each retail package includes a special 3-4 pin power adapter with split connectors.

Now, the Yate Loon, I'm familiar with. The Delta I'm familiar with. But, the Scythe with those specs? 😕 33CFM @ 800RPM?

I've got a Scythe SFF21E (1200rpm, can't remember CFM) on my Ultra 120 and I can't hear it over my Antec Tricools at low, it's very quiet. The 800rpm would be silent unless you have your ear on it, but it won't move much air.

It's bullshit, obviously.

Hmmm, Specs sounds logical ... chart out CFM vs RPM for the three fans. Fans/pumps will have better volumetric efficency at lower speeds. In this case, just compare CFM/RPM or cubic feet per rev. Youll see a higher Cubic feet per rev for lower revs. You can loosely associate this with volumetric eff.

I say NO BULL.

From SPCR's chart, I would say it's more like 30-31 CFM, at a much higher noise level.
