120mm fan next to hdd's.. problem?

Does anybody think the slight vibrations might affect hard drive reliablity? My drives have rubber inserts between them and the drivecage.. but still. I'm paranoid whenever i turn up my fans

I have 2 rigs with 120mm fans running directly in front of the hds, and not even using rubber mounts. No problems after nearly 2 years and 4 months on the other.

Nope - some of Antec's cases, and probably other manufacturers too, have a 120mm fan right next to the main hard drive cage. My 3700AMB houses 5 hard drives only maybe a centimeter, if even that far, from a 120mm intake fan. Maybe if you've got a Tornado fan missing a blade, but a regular, functional fan shouldn't cause problems.

I'm guessing you might have a Sonata case?
Either way, wouldn't worry about it at all.
