120mm fan for Thermaltake xp-120

It depends on what motherboard you are using, some older Motherboards circuitry cant handle some 120mm fans load. Newer Motherboard can handle most 120mm fans and if the load is to great it wont boot as a safeguard.

My advise is to connect the 120mm fan directly to a Powers supplies Molex.

BTW, If you want one of the best 120mm fans available, check these out, I will personally vouch for this seller as he has sold 100's to members at Overclockers.com and this fan is amazing. If you hold it in your hand and compare it to another like a Panaflo, you will see why this Sanyo Denki is just a better fan. (The price is exceptional as well)

Good dual-ball bearing 120mm will be on a 4-pin molex and comes with a 3-pin (1 wire) speed tac that you plug into motherboard cpu fan 3-pin connection.
