Hi, can somebody explain why my evercool @ around 4V can manage to stay on when the case side is on, but when i remove the case side, it turns off. This fan is my intake. I have a low spin Antec 120 in the back. Is it possible that the rear fan is "helping" the front fan to spin, but when i remove the side panel, this "helping" effect wares off?

Have you tried 5v? Most fans cut out around the 4v mark I believe. Not sure why it would stop just by removing the case side though.
