Question 120mm AIO for 120W EPYC Rome

Hi. I have a Silverstone MM01 case and got to cool an Epyc 7282 Rome CPU (120W).

I specified the case model since it's rather a special case, built for harsh environments. The PSU is top-mounted and takes all the heat generated inside the case. Furthermore, the case just has a 120mm fan mounting grid and its airflow is somewhat limited (the air intakes are HEPA-filtered).

Now, I initially thought to buy a Noctua air cooler for SP3, but on a second thought, a 120mm AIO would allow me to exhaust all the heat generated by the cpu directly outside the case. However, I am having troubles finding 120mm AIOs advertised for the SP3 socket. My question is: can I buy AIOs advertised for TR4 socket? Will they be compatible?

Furthermore, what about the long-term reliability of such AIOs?

Thanks!

Are you meaning a single 120mm fan AIO, as opposed to a 240mm AIO, which uses two 120mm fans?

The reason you arent finding one, is because a 120mm cooler is not enough. I have a 240mm AIO on my 3700X, and I am half wishing I would have gone with a 280mm.

Cooling options for socket SP3 are pretty limited anyway. Those aren't enthusiast overclocker CPUs. That being said:

You should be able to use TR4 coolers on SP3 as well. Be aware that many AiO products sold as being "compatible" with TR4 have blocks that don't cover the entire IHS. Enermax sold some LiqTech coolers for TR4 that DID have full-cover blocks, only for them to develop hideous corrosion problems that they (apparently) refuse to fix. So avoid the Enermax products as well.
