120hz is crzy on CRTs

Busted out my old 17 inch crt for some mame..

Noticed the option in the new mame+ for 120hz..

Wow even 60fps is slightly choppy, you can see the slight twitch due to the frames been displayed twice..

AND omg 3rd strike is now working? SINCE WHENnnnn hahaha 😀😀

Makes me want to go buy a 22" crt.

60 Hz on a CRT is totally different from 60 Hz on an LCD. The minimum comfortable refresh rate on a CRT is more like 75 Hz (preferably 85 or higher).

i miss my old sony 19" that could do 120hz at 1600x1200
