I need some extra space and speed for my new video editing addiction. I found a review comparing the specific drives I'm looking at, and the performance is marginally in favor of the Raid setup with normal operation, too small to detect. (I'm not sure how the 2 would compare in editing.) What option would you guys choose, and why?

Edit: These are my 2 options because the price difference between 2 particular deals I found is small.

I like RAID 0, I had this similar delima about 3 months ago, when I could have gotten a 20GB scsi drive, or get 2 60Gb, and use my onboard raid controller. I chose the RAID0. IF your going to be editing stuff that's crucial then I would go scsi, if you have a standalone HD to store all your important data, then I would go with the raid.

Basically you'll have alot more room to play with in the Raid, sacraficing the reliability that a scsi drive will give you.
