Definitly, not only is that an impossible configuration (I know of NO machines that could house all those sticks LOL) but the price is off by a couple zeros even if it were true.

But damn that would be a sweet setup. :)

that is a good deal, but on outpost using that model # u can get the real 1gb for 95$

CAS 2.5 8-4-4 @ DDR400MHz PC3200 2.55v-2.85V

While the 2.5 is good, the 8 is very bad.

Whoa, I knew DRAM prices were falling.. but not this much. Less than $1/GB for DRAM is HOT!!!

Too bad:
1. They always have that "not responsible for printing errors" clause in ads like that, and,
2. your mobo probably only takes 2 or 3 gigs of ram, maximum!! ;)

Considering they didn't even spell 'Channel' correct, it's easy to see that they need someone proof-reading this stuff.

from the fine print on the bottom (the one with the visa, etc logos):

Actual memory capacity stated above may be less. Total accessible memory capicty may vary depending on operating environment and/or method of calculating units of memory (i.e., megabytes or gigabytes).

Unfortunately, when you install 120GB worth of RAM, it forces the modules into a 128T command rate. ;)

The 8 (Tras) is determined by the motherboard. I think you mean the 4-4 is bad.
