I remember that lawsuit. Supposedly, nissan.com owner had owned that company before the internet even came about so to speak. He had also owned that site for the longest time then Nissan (car manufac) tried to sure him for the name. Am I correct? Anyhow, if Nissan (car) lost, then why isn't Nissan (computer) site up and running?
 
The guy had 3 party automobile advertising and was infringing and therefore infringing on Nissan's Automobile trademark. The court said to shut the website down to something non-commercial, but he doesn't have to give the website to Nissan.
