1200$ what would you buy :D

K say i got 1200$ what kind of system would u build? I got the monitor, speakers, mouse and keyboard already. so besides that what would u spend the 1200$ on? Game = Mostly gaming, surging net, school stuff. some cad.

Get a 1ghz tbird with a gf3. $80 on hdd, wait for a burner deal... keep your head in hot deals!
 
I almost always suggest getting an AMD Athlon XP as your CPU unless you are doing a few select things. The price/performance ratio is just a lot better. 512MB of memory is probably a good idea, as it actually makes a difference in some newer games. A KT333 motherboard is a good bet, however a SiS745 chipset based board would do the job nicely too. The GeForce Ti4200 is an excellent buy right now. The sound card is probably one of the more debated pieces of hardware. I have a Philips Acoustic Edge and I LOVE IT. It sounds a lot better than my SB Live! Value for gaming and music. The Audigy and Turtle Beach Santa Cruz are popular as well.
