$1200 budget Gaming PC Build [Suggestions]

Future proofing involves spending as much $$ as it takes, in order not to have to upgrade in a year or so... That is not another way of saying "bang for the buck"
The $1200 budget doesn't allow for "future proofing".

The best way to future proof is to save money and spend it on future components (c) Ken g6. This implies that in order to save money, or avoid overspending, while still fulfilling the immediate requirements you set for the PC, you have to think about bang for buck.

Listen to lehtv. He's probably got the best balanced system recommendation I've seen for the $$, although I'm not a huge fan of MSI. Other than that, buy it!

The only msi product I bought was 280x and it was trash. Worst fans ever

Now the G750 is back to $130 so that's not worth the money any longer. For dual 770's, Rosewill Capstone 750W $100 is optimal. The downside compared to G750 is the lack of modular cables, but on the upside, it has 7 year warranty. For a single card config, Antec HCG-620 $90 ($70 AR) is nice, but only buy it if you're going to take advantage of the rebate.
