Hey guys. My Uncle is a VBA programmer and does a lot of interesting things inside of Excel, building whole programs exist there that transform it into something else entirely.
His circa 2005(!) HP laptop is finally failing him and he is looking to upgrade to a modern 17" class laptop.
Just about the only stipulations he gave me was that he wants a full keyboard with a numpad on the right, and at least 5 hours of battery life.
He said under $2,000 but I said we should be able to find something for more like $1200-$1500. I think a dual core Sandy Bridge should be a minimum for CPU and he does NOT need discrete graphics.
You guys have any favorites?
