When did a 12 year old get to be in charge. This is unreal. Doesn?t this POS have any parents? And the idiot judge basically slapped his wrist.

A chubby-faced tearaway nicknamed Chucky after the demonic horror movie doll has been issued with an Asbo after using up 85 per cent of the local police time.

Oliver Clinch, 12, brought chaos and fear to his neighbourhood as he went on an alcohol-fuelled crime spree, smashing windows, stealing, abusing residents in the street and leading other youths 'like the Pied Piper'.

Clinch's victims are looking forward to their first peaceful night in more than a year after he was given a two-year anti-social behaviour order.

They hope it will bring to an end the 12-month reign of terror during which

4ft 5in Clinch committed at least 60 offences in Little Lever near Bolton.

PC Graham Westwell told Bolton magistrates that he had spent 85 per cent of his working life dealing with Clinch's crimes. He said: 'In my view, these 60 offences in the last year represent only half of the crimes he has committed.

'People are either too scared to come forward or he has only been prosecuted for one of a number of similar offences committed at the same time.

'On numerous occasions, I've seen him behaving like the Pied Piper with a group of 16 or 17 youths following him to watch his behaviour.

'They know he will do stupid things. When he's drunk, he's out of control. Some have said that his behaviour is like that of an animal.'

Among his catalogue of crimes, Clinch targeted an Asian shopkeeper and his family with racial abuse at least a dozen times. Graffiti featuring Clinch's name was daubed on the outside of the shop and the windows were smashed three times.

Clinch would also verbally abuse and spit at members of the public, subjecting them to a torrent of foul language.

On several occasions, he targeted women for abuse and made sexual remarks to a teacher after being expelled from school.

He also reversed his aunt's car into the road and attacked her after she refused to drive him to a friend's house.

Recently, he stole lead from the roof of the school, tried to smash a bus station window and stole a case of lager from an off-licence.

One resident said: 'It's a been a year and a half of hell because of that lad. He has brought misery to the whole community with his drinking, foul mouth, yobbery and vandalism.

'He was nicknamed Chucky after the doll in the Child's Play movies and it was hardly surprising. At least in the films it was not real life.

'We're just breathing a huge sigh of relief that some action has been taken against him and we just hope this Asbo stands him to attention.'

Applying for the Asbo, Rana Vaithianatha, prosecuting, said: 'There are people who have been systematically abused by Oliver Clinch and this order is needed to protect the people of Little Lever from further offences.'

Under the order, Clinch is banned from causing harassment, alarm or distress to the public.

He is also banned from possessing alcohol and associating with a number of named youths and must also stay away from certain areas of the town. If Clinch breaches the Asbo, he faces up to five years in custody.

Wow... already lost as a 12 year old kid.

If the entire town was so frightened by him, they should all get together and kick his ass.

If he does their in name only. It seemed even the cops couldn't control him. Imagine what this punk will be like if he lives to be 18?

He probably terrorized older people, ethnic minorities, and others who could/would not fight back or were afraid to fight back. The article mentions he had a gang of kids with him. Who knows how old they were and what trouble they were up to? Also no telling if he was armed or if his friends were as well.

In some neighborhoods, the police don't respond too well, and people have to fend for themselves. If this kid with his roving band of kids are armed and violent, I can see how people would fear to "beat his ass", since his gang may retaliate with murder.

Good to know that he has been arrested.

If they were armed I'd assume the article would mention it.

Still, I'd pay money to see an angry mob beat his ass 1920's style with bricks and baseball bats.

You're proably right. It's sad people have to endure that. I don't think I could very long.

Google showed an atricle in the Manchester Evening News as well. I seem to think this is a legimate story. They had a lot more details.

The two-year ASBO, agreed by magistrates, will run until July 2009. Under its terms, Clinch, a former pupil at Little Lever High, must not behave in an anti-social manner so as to cause harassment, alarm or distress to any person not of his household, possess alcohol for himself or another in any place, except at home; enter Tong Road from its junction with Lancaster Drive to its junction with Paramel Avenue in Little Lever; enter a defined area of Little Lever bordered by Church Street, Lever Street, Hill Top, Radcliffe Road, Bradshaw Brook, Back Bowness Road and Church Street; enter the grounds of Little Lever School outside school hours; remain on any public premises if asked to leave by any person; approach four named people and be in the company of five named youth in a public place

This little punk is still on the loose and can drink at home??? So just what did this order do? What a crock. Like he's going to pay any attention. I'm glad these idiots are giving themself a pat on the back.

Sounds like he'll immediately go to FPMITAP once he's of age. It's pathetic that there is no mention of the parents, or his lack of parents, or whatever the situation is.
