12" powerbook vs 15" powerbook

What are you thoughts on this, I already have had 2 12" laptops and I'm fine with them.

But the 15" widescreen is interesting, I could use the extra real estate when its not hooked up my my LCD. I also have a T42 so I'm used to a 14" but never have used a 15" widescreen. ONly played with it at the apple store.

Do you feel its not portable enuf?

(Bias warning: I've had a 15" PowerBook for the past 14 months)

I love the size of the 12" PowerBook, but I prefer the features of the 15". Even though I don't play many games, I like the Radeon 9600/9700, rather than the underpowered 5200 Ultra. I also like the backlit keyboard. gigabit ethernet, and SVideo outputs.

The 15" model is wide though, but not even remotely as large as the monster 17" model. The 15" model has a nice screen and overall it doesn't feel too large, mainly because it's so thin. I carry it with my everywhere and it seems much more portable than my previous 14" 6.5 lb notebook!!!

It you're really cramped for space, you'll probably need to stick with a 12" model. But if you're used to a 14" notebook, then I think you'll find the 15" PowerBook to be an ok size.
