Don't pray too loudly on the plane, someone will think you are a terrorist. :p

Well, it's ElAl so they think everyone is a terrorist anyway. ;)

Hopefully, when you get interrogated before boarding it'll be by a hot female soldier. It always made the boarding process a little bit better for me.

Yeah, I've taken this flight a number of times. Elal is not bad, but the flight is never-ending.

The only thing I really disliked about ElAl on the two flights I took is that you can't really fall asleep and listen to movies or music. Their stupid "captain announcements" are at full blast and, if you aren't quick enough to remove your headphones, they'll deafen you.

12 hours? I could do that standing on my head.

Try 26 hours (STL=>CPT) with a toddler! :p

Seriously, though, long flights suck. I'm 6'5", and even first class seats are a little too short for my taste. Have a safe flight!

At least in your steel tube, you can get up and walk around.

My steel tube experience to Israel would have forcibly required swimming if I stood up.:p
However, it was twice as fast as yours.

I doubt the aforementioned steel tube flew you across the pond too. :)
Pics? :p

My tube was a twin engine going at 2x speed of sound.
Thirsty though - needed a flying gas station off the Azores.

Sample Pic - 25 years afterwards

Can't wait to go from 60 and drizzly/cloudy to 85 and beautiful!

Sleep deprive yourself before boarding so that you can sleep easily. I hate long flights.

You should do the exact opposite. Keep yourself awake on the plane, so when you get there, you sleep with the destinations normal cycle. It fixes Jet Lag on the first day
