The regular Price is $29.99 for the 12 ft toslink digital optical a/v cable. My friendly Radio Shack geek was unaware of the $9.97 sale price until he rang it up. Best Buy has these $20 for 6 ft. Seems like a pretty good deal.

I think Radio Shack also sells those adaptors as the smaller plugs are fairly common on MD players and portable CD players.

They had like 6 of these at one of my local RadioShack's. The salesman said they were closing them out because they are switching to a higher quality "gold series" line, about the level of the Monster Cable ones. And of course they are a lot more in price too.
