PM at the register to $79.99 price at CompUSA (instant savings shown on the web site; I have no idea what the national circular looks like). Just print out the product page at compusa.com and explain to the cashier that it's a sale price valid at CompUSA B&M. Most likely, they'll gladly manually adjust for you.

Then "stack" the 10% off coupon to bring it to $71.99 + tax out the door.

Rebate receipt will print out at B&M. From rebate receipt printed at checkout register:

"In-store rebates are valid for in-store purchases only. BestBuy.com rebates are vaild with online purchases only."

Now I'll sell my MS force feedback 1 for the net price I paid for this one. Upgrade cost = $0.

Coupon is in December issue of Maxim and SI. Run a search on "BB" or "Best Buy" and you should find the thread with the exact issue and pages.

I'm not sure if the CUSA ad is PM'able, I think it might have been AR. I'll have to double-check.

I almost bought one of these Friday for the full $100, glad my mom told me to wait until the sales papers came out on Sunday. ;)

That rebate is instant, meaning the price is 79.99 at the register. So the PM should work.
Even without 10%, still a hot deal.

My final price is $7.99 (plus tax).

$99.99 - $22 (110% PM to CompUSA at $79.99) - $50 (BB MIR) - $20 (MS MIR) = $7.99 (plus tax)

Be aware. BB had none of these on the shelf and even the shelf tag was gone! When I asked the CSR where I could find it he stated, "I think we used to carry it." But, after some "arm twisting" and insisting that BB has to carry MS's top-of-the-line joystick, I got the him to "look in the back." And what do you think he found? "There were a few in the corner back there." was his response. :)

Thanks for the deal!

Just picked it up for $79.99 (PM Comp USA) - 10% coupon (latest SI) = $71.99 - $50 (BB MIR) - $20 (MIR) = $1.99

Now, that's in a nearly perfect world. The $20 MIR I picked up from Buy.com does not mention Buy.com, and appears to be a manufacturer's rebate. However, both the Best Buy rebate ($50) and the Microsoft rebate ($20) want the UPC. Any thoughts or comments? Thanks

UPDATE

Wife just got off the phone with MS, and operator (Francis @ 1-800-622-4445 x53093) indicated that MS will honor the copy right page from the manual of the joystick plus oringinal or copy of receipt and the rebate form. She said allow 6-8 weeks (yeah, I know they always say that).
