12.41 and Stereo?

OK, I am not up on things. I just installed the 12.41's and downloaded this stereo thing. Can someone give me a quick run down on what the heck this is and do I need glasses to use it??


Sorry to be lazy here, but I figured someone here will just say yay or nay and that is good enough for me.

Yes you need 3D glasses. There are many 3rd party vendors of 3D glasses. However, there hasn't been much support for 3D in video cards because in essence, it reduces your performance in half (it needs to draw each frame twice for each eye). If you have the 3D glasses, then it should work with these drivers.
