As much of a fan of W:ET - and by association Splash Damage - as I was, I thought this game was slightly above average at best:

- I love the graphic style
- I like the parkour elements, thought that was implemented rather well
- It ran really well on my computer

I couldn't put a finger on it but it just didn't grab me like W:ET did. Of course, it's a blast w/ more players and it's somewhat hard to find a populated server on a regular basis, maybe that's the reason . . ..

Are we going to see a rapid change in how PC games are created?

This was a full-scale game that retailed at $50 and is now on sale for $5 just 6/7 months after it's release. Batman: Arkham City was selling for $25 only a month after release.
Meanwhile a smaller game like Bastion is still selling for $10 and succeeding.

It's just interesting that it seems a lot of gamers are getting spoiled by Steam/Amazon/etc. deals and refuse to pay full retail price. I really want to play Skyrim and Assassin's Creed: Revelations, but I feel like I can wait and pay half price for those, especially when I have a backlog of games to play.

How's the co-op for Brink? Worth the $?
