My HX620 is easily 8 years old now and has seen 3 system upgrades. It's still as whisper quiet as I remember it to be.

Here's hoping it will keep going for a few more years.

I purchased a PC Power & Cooling 500 watt PSU in 2005!! U think It will work for another 11 years!!

I purchased my PC Power & Cooling SILENCER 750 in 2007. It's my oldest piece of computer equipment still in use. I'm betting I'll get another 10 years out of it.

I have a Silencer 275 when that was the biggest one available (1998). It was in constant use, with an ATX12V adapter and SATA adapters until 3 years ago. I don't have any tools to measure things like ripple which I'm sure were quite high, but it was still very stable.

Nah, I say run it to the ground!!!

Idealy one should always be prepared for any failure regardless of hardware age. Backups, spare parts etc. if the machine is important enough.
