11th Hour Decision Regarding School

All my classes have been great at college so far. My cumulative GPA is perfect (4.0). However this semester (my last one before I graduate) I'm struggling with one class because I'm asbolutely BORED and fall asleep in it. There are no notes posted by the teacher at ALL so I can't really catch up.

So if I drop the class, I graduate with a perfect 4.0 GPA and my transcript has a mark on it saying I dropped a class.

If I keep the class, I struggly to get a passing mark, I'll end up with a 3.9 GPA and no mark on my record.

I don't know, personal goal is I like my GPA as a 4.0 and I don't think people would regard that mark on my transcript too much? Wouldn't the GPA kind of negate it like "oh well minor trouble with one thing" or something? Feedback! 🙂

if you graduate with a 4.0 GPA i'm sure potential employers won't care about 1 dropped class.

is the class a general education credit? or specific to your major?

Who the fvck is ever gonig to look at your transcript? No one unless you apply to grad school. And even so, dropping a single class is hardly a big deal.

Conversely, I don't think an employer would care if you did poorly in one class and had a 3.9 GPA. I'd still drop it though, because I'm lazy.

Not true. The company I just interviewed with asked to see my transcripts.

Its well, a "professional option" but not really in my area. I'm going hardcore programming/more specific to systems and its data warehousing. I know enough about databases to program them but I have no interest in being anything like a database developer or something like that.

damm a 4.0 uh... put my 3.2 to shame 🙁 just drop it, it dont think anyone will look that close at your transcipt and I would say that most students drop at least one class in the college career

I wonder if I can get into MIT or something with my GPA.
I don't have much extracurriculus unfortunately 🙁

That'd be a nice school to go to 🙂
