1155 MB recommendation

Any recommendations for a decent mb <$90, I will be using a discrete video card so no need for integrated video.

I realised that I never/hardly used high end features of previous mbs - so I don't need 4 memory slots (2 is enough), 1 PCIE, no raid. What I would like if possible is USB3/SATA3.

Are you planning on overclocking? Because I wouldn't with a $90 motherboard.

I know you said you don't need certain features (onboard video for ex.) but you can't avoid certain features. Here's my choice for a budget MB

I agree would watch out on trying to overclock on a $90 board but the board that abekl link looks to be about as good as you can get on that price range. I wouldnt have thought that you could have gotten into a Z68 board for that price.

The ASRock Z68 board gives you the option to use an SSD for caching (SRT) if you want to. I've had 1 Biostar board out of a few die on me, but 5 ASRock boards from 2005 that are still running. No experience with MSI.

go z68...latest greatest for the same money as p67...plus extra features...
the giga board looks to be a winner and the biostar board is also very good...
with no o/clocking any board you like will work fine for your use...just go for the board that you like the best...
