edit: What confused me is that I thought the citizens of Switerland were called Swedes. If so, then what are the people of Sweden called? Swedes too? Just too damn confusing.

Wow. That IS confusing. And I heard they call folks who live in Sweden "Swiss." Like the cheese. Uh huh. Dear lord, please Mr. Bush, don't cut education spending in the US... which confuses me... people in the US aren't called USers. Well, some are.
