Don't know. Only other camera I tested macro with was my A40, and the results weren't pretty :p


yeah my dad has an A40 it's not pretty

macro shots have a very shallow DoF, so it's possible to have one part of the flower to not be in focus while the rest is, so increase the F-stop to as high as possible. unfortunately, that camera can only do up to F3.1, while my sony can do F8. also, that camera's image quality is fairly poor with respect to other cameras that do cost more. Looking at the F stops and ISO 100\200 capabilities, you can tell why it's $500 and not $800.

anyway, with the camera the way it is, more lighting, and hold the camera very still, and be selective about what you're focusing on.
